Gendai Reiki Ho, is a method of "healing" of the body, mind and spirit. "Ho" means method, technique and "Gendai means modern, therefore we can say that Gendai Reiki Ho, means modern methods of Reiki. It is primarily a Japanese style of Reiki. Doi-sensei (photo), with the energy techniques of Gendai Reiki Ho and traditional Japanese principles operate a connection between the methods of Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai with those that are in practiced in the occidental world .Sensei Hiroshi Doi, still clarify and make a distinction on between what Reiki is considered "original" from what is not. The students in this way get a serious teaching of this ancient art "to the rebalancing of energy. The motto in Gendai Reiki is:

Ayashiku-nai =Nothing sinister
Okashiku-nai = Nothing strange
Muzukashiku-nai = Nothing difficult
